Lady Blue Devils Shoot For A Successful Remainder of the Season

The Lisbon Lady Blue Devils have been making the best of a highly unusual season. No one would have imagined the team being quarantined twice and worrying about whether they would finish the season.  The Lady Devils have started the season with a 3 and 8 record.  Coach Snyder says “we cannot focus on the record because we are a young team whose focus is improvement”.

With only a few weeks remaining in the season, Parker Henthorne feels East Palestine and Columbiana are the two toughest opponents they will face.  To prepare for the remaining games and continue to improve, Snyder feels the team will have to build on their strength of hard work.  He remarks “right before we were quarantined, we were on the verge of where I thought this team could be.  In the next few weeks, we should reach the potential I’ve seen all season”.

“Each player needs to realize they can score and contribute to the team” says Parker.   “I feel like we all know how to play better with each other than we did when we started practicing in the summer”.  As the season wraps up, Mr. Snyder couldn’t have said it better when he told me “the girls are working hard and the future is bright”. From what I have seen and heard, the Lisbon Lady Blue Devils are a team that have shown and will continue to show what it truly means to be a team.
