COVID-19 Update

After the past 10 months of the world-wide virus going around, we are getting closer to finally getting answers. It has been hard for everybody, especially the countries like America that have been amongst one of the longest countries to stay following Covid guidelines.

On wednesday, January 20th, 2021 when President Biden and his administration took over the office, he later released a statement saying that vaccines should be out to the entire U.S. population by the end of the summer. These vaccines are said to improve immunity to this deadly outbreak. On January 26th Biden would continue to order more than 200 million doses of the vaccine. The U.S. Drug and Food Administration has also monitored the vaccine saying that it is safe and side effects such as a fever and other pains are normal signs.

As of recently, New York Times Database stated that the world has surpassed over a 100 million known coronavirus cases. With a decrease in the number of cases worldwide, BBC News came out to say that New Zealand reported their first case in the community for the first time since November. As hospital rooms are filling up, hot spots such as California and other big states in America have lifted their stay at home order in all regions. With this new plan due to President Biden a lot of people are hopeful for a change of events for the virus.

Americans have made many predictions that this country is leaning in the right direction and that following the guidelines will only make this process even quicker. It is safe to say that wearing a mask and maintaining a social distance is a major key in helping solve these issues we are facing during this time. As we progress forward, we hope to see more and more updates to come.
