Excel Students Compete in Energy Awareness Contest

Excel students from Lisbon David Anderson recently won a contest sponsored by the Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program on Energy Awareness. The students presented a video and pictures showing how oil and gas products are a part of our everyday lives.

The 8th graders won 2nd place and were awarded $250.00. The Excel students that won were Haiden Colvin, Brynn Buckley, Collin Wells, Adyson Andric, and Alivia Pahanish. The 6th and 7th graders won honorable mention with a prize of $25 for each group. The 7th graders include Charlie Phillips, Wesley Gaskill, Sam Spooner, Liam Exline, Anastasia Kupka, Trevor Siefke, Ryan Carpenter, Gage Owens, Tate Wallen, Morgan Lively, Reese Carpenter, Katie Hawthorne, Elizabeth Baker, Robert Esarey, Alex Schreffler, Sam Hart, and Cooper Mollenkopf. The 6th graders include Abigail Beil, Kaitlyn Gushert, Marshall Hall, Isabella Cornwell, Ethan Baily, Alissa Greathouse, and Luke Kraft.

These students should be very proud of their accomplishments. They have worked so hard to get where they are. Congratulations to them on winning and all the hard work they have put into to this contest.
