The 2019 basketball homecoming court was recently announced. The court consist of five attendants and the retiring queen of 2018. The five attendants for this year are Karsyn Faulk, Maddie Freeman, Cadee Johnson, Haley Toot, Natalie Ammon, and the retiring queen is Madison Hall. The 2019 basketball homecoming queen will be announced at the varsity boys’ basketball game against Jackson Milton on Friday February 15, 2019.
Natalie Ammon is the daughter of Missy and Ray Ammon. Natalie participated in four years of Volleyball, three years of softball, four years of basketball cheerleading and two years of football cheerleading. This past year Natalie served as Co-captain of the varsity football cheerleading squad. Natalie serves as the vice president of National Honors Society, the treasurer of Student Council, and secretary of the Spanish Club. She also holds the office of President for the Science Club. Natalie is a member of the Health Careers Club, Key Club, Knitting Club and Pep Club. She is one year member the Physic Olympics team and a McKinley tutor. Natalie was selected the first attendant of the Johnny Appleseed Festival Royal Court 2018-2019. Presently, she works at Subway. Natalie will be attending Kent State Salem in the fall of 2019 where she plans to earn a BSN.
Karsyn Faulk is the daughter of Shane Dunn & Doug Faulk. Karsyn participated in four years of volleyball and four years of football and basketball cheerleading. She serves as the treasurer of National Honor Society, the president of Spanish Club, and also participates in Science Club and Knitting Club. Karsyn is a member of the First Methodist Church of Lisbon. She will be attending Kent State Salem for nursing.
Maddie Freeman, is the daughter of Heather Lindsley. She participated in track and field for four years. Maddie has also participated in Student Council for the past two years. She attends the Abundant Life Fellowship Church. Maddie plans to attend Kent State Salem in the fall for radiology.
Cadee Johnson is the daughter of Jim and Cathy Johnson. Cadee has participated in basketball for four years, volleyball for three years, softball for two years, and flag line for one year. Cadee’s plans for the future are undecided
Haley Toot is the daughter of Dave and Heather Toot. She participated in football and basketball cheerleading for four years and track for three years. She has been a four year member of Key Club, Spanish Club, Just Say No Club, English Festival, and Pep Club. She was also a two year member of Knitting Club. Haley works at the Shale Tavern and Grill and the Lisbon Dairy Queen.
The reigning 2018 Basketball Homecoming Queen is Miss Madison Hall. Madison is the daughter of Mark and Michelle Hall. Madison is attending the transition program in Salem, where she goes to different job sites around the county. She is also preparing for college.
