Undefeated 7th Grade Boys Basketball

The Junior High boys basketball team used to be made up of a seventh and eighth grade team, but after the 2nd nine weeks we now just have a seventh grade team. The seventh grade boys include Trevor Siefke, Tate Wallen, Austin Dailey, Hunter Dailey, Ryan Carpenter, Logan Stauffer, Alex Schreffler, Landon Mowry, Coach Avery Andric and Coach Doug Andric. They are a group of young, talented, and hard-working young men.

This group of young men are currently undefeated with about a week left in their season before tournaments. Their leading scorers have been Trevor Siefke and Logan Stauffer. In their last game they were down 36-38 with 5 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Austin Dailey made the game winning shot from the corner to put the Devils up 39-38. Trevor Siefke had 35 points with eight threes against Leetonia.

Avery Andric said, “They have been working their tails off and that should not only prepare them for tournament play this year, but it will prepare them for high school basketball too.” Junior High sports are for kids to have fun and learn not only about the game of basketball, but about the game of life.
