This year’s winter concert is almost here, and it’s going to be the best one yet. The concert happens every year around Christmas, and features the junior high concert band, high school concert band and choir, who play or sing pieces themed around the holidays. They are directed by Mr. Scott Miller, the band and choir director, who is very optimistic about this year’s concert.

Mr. Miller believes this year’s show will be the best yet, and that all the performing students are well prepared for it. “We’re playing some interesting versions of songs people already know,” he says. “I only picked songs that I would want to play if I was in the concert.”

Among the list for the band are “The Bells of Christmas”, a medley of songs like “Silver Bells” and “Carol of The Bells”, and “Upon a Winter’s Eve”. They will also play some full-length songs such as “O Holy Night”. The choir will be singing Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You”. The Junior High band will be playing popular carols that everyone will know.

Overall, Mr. Miller is optimistic about the outcome, and the band and choir are great groups of talented performers, who will be fully capable of putting on the best show so far. The concert will take place on December 19th at 7:00 pm, and is open to any and all who care to attend.
