We have ten days for Christmas break this year. Have you ever thought about some ways you can help out in your community or just some place in general? If not, then here are a few ways you can help.

If you have a dog pound near you or in your town, take a trip over and offer to take some of the dogs for a walk. If you do not have time to do that then you could donate some toys, food or blankets for the animals. If it snows you can be kind and shovel sidewalks.

If you know someone who is in assisted living, you could go up there and just say hi and visit. You could find some friends and a group of you could go up and sing some carols for them. Just in general, you could find a way to help. Last but not least, volunteer to help cook and take the meals to the residents.
