Key Club Prepares Christmas Gifts for McKinley Students

Each year Key Club takes Christmas gifts down to McKinley to give to students. Teachers at McKinley pick twelve students, a boy and girl from grades k-5, who they feel deserve a Christmas gift. The Key Club uses money from their fundraisers at the schoo,l including the rose sale done right before Sweetest Day. The Key Club picks a day in December to go and buy the gifts and their December meeting is spent wrapping them. The last day before Christmas break they will take the gifts down and have the kids open them.

This is something they have done every year because the money they raise from the Kiwanis Rose Sale needs to go back into the community. The best way possible for that to happen is to give back to the kids who need Christmas gifts this season.
