Red Ribbon Week is a prevention awareness campaign for alcohol, tobacco, drugs and violence observed annually in October in the United States. Across the country, communities began wearing red ribbons as a symbol of their commitment to raise awareness of the killing and destruction caused by these substances.

Mrs. Hiscox and the Just Say No Club are in charge of Red Ribbon Week this year. The Just Say No Club has hung up signs to encourage everyone to wear red on October 30th to show support for awareness of all the violence and drug prevention.
