New Staff at DAHS

This 2018-2019 school year, DAHS welcomed three new teachers to our school. Jordan Wrask, Maddy Wrask, and Alan Mikovich. These three teachers are also coaches.

Jordan Wrask graduated from United Local High School. He attended college at Waynesburg University. He is a second year teacher and is currently teaching Geometry and Algebra 2. Mr. Wrask coaches varsity football and track at DAHS. He feels as if teaching and coaching at the same time allows him to get to know the students better. Mr. Wrask enjoys how close knit our community is and because of this, he sees a lot of his students outside of school.

Maddy Wrask graduated from Southern Local High School. She attended college at Kent State University. This is her first year teaching, and she currently teaches 6th grade English. Mrs. Wrask coaches varsity volleyball at DAHS. She feels as if sometimes coaching and teaching can be difficult because of how much time is put into both. Mrs. Wrask loves how nice and welcoming the staff and students are here at DAHS.

Alan Mikovich graduated from Youngstown Chaney High School. He attended college at Youngstown State University. This is his 18th year teaching. He previously taught at Jackson Milton and Southern Local. He is currently teaching C.B.I and physical education. Mr. Mikovich coaches varsity football here at DAHS. He feels as if teaching and coaching together is not that difficult, it’s just a longer day. Coach Mikovich enjoys how nice and welcoming everyone has been.
