Bobby Tarantino 2 – Music Review

Last year Logic released a sentimental album, Everybody, focusing on racial equality and practicing the act of kindness amongst each other. His single “1-800-273-8255,” about suicide prevention, features Alessia Cara and Khalid. It went four-times platinum and received two Grammy nominations. He recently just released a follow-up to his 2015 Mixtape Bobby Tarantino, with an album that he describes as, “An unapologetically fun project that balances wisdom and wit.” Bobby Tarantino 2 features 2 Chainz, Big Sean & Wiz Khalifa.

Released on March 9, industry forecasters believe it’s heading for a No. 1 debut on next week’s Billboard 200 albums chart and could launch with around 120,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending March 15. The album is named after Logics nickname, Bobby, and gives a feel for his life since Bobby Tarantino came about. He announced this album only 48 hours beforehand, and soon after announced a 33-date headlining tour with NF and Kyle opening on all the dates.
