The golf team has had a very successful season this year. The current golf record for the 2017 school year is 9-4. The captains of the team are Branson Brownfield and Samantha Tinsley; both being seniors.

The top golfers of the team are Branson Brownfield and Samantha Tinsley. Branson has a 36 average and Sam has a 42 average. Sam was the medal winner at the sectionals with a 76, which was three over par. Branson tied the school record for shooting a 32 in a match. Branson and Sam both advance to the district tournament this week.

The golf team is 7-3 in their league, and they have many accomplishments this season. Two individuals have received 1st team all-league and one individual received 2nd team all-league.

Coach Thompson feels that his golf team works very well together as a team. He thinks all the kids are great kids. They all take the sport very seriously both in and out of school. Coach Thompson expects many great things at this year.
