Anti-feminism is not new. In the 19th century, plenty of women did not agree with feminism because women were going against norms that said men were supreme. Most anti-feminism supporters are against feminism because they support egalitarianism. Egalitarianism is the belief that all people are equal. Anti-Feminists have many reasons to be against feminism. The main reason to be against feminism is because it makes women seem weak and whiney. There is a large number of very successful women in the world that proves if you work hard for something you want, you can achieve it. They equate feminism with not having to work hard to achieve what they want.

Anti-feminists say that feminism is known for belittling and demonizing men, while encouraging women to see themselves as victims. “I am not a victim” and “I can take responsibility for my actions” are recurring themes with this topic. Anti-feminists say that feminists are constantly victimizing women. Feminists often fail to realize that men and women are very different. They find it very insulting. Some feminists claim that they want equality for women but they expect special treatment.

I am no feminist and believe that egalitarianism is better to support. I believe that all people should be treated equal despite their sex or race. I think some feminists come off as rude and make women seem crazy. Whether we are or not, that is a personal description, not a description of a gender as a whole. I personally think egalitarianism is better to support because it does not single any race or gender out.
