Lady Devils Breaking Records

Half way through the 2016-17 season, the girls have broken three school records. All three records were broken at Wellsville on Thursday, December 8, 2016. One of the records was individual, the new record holder is Karlee Pezzano. The other two took a group effort and 32 minutes of hard work.

Starting with the individual, Karlee Pezzano had a total of 14 steals during a game. The previous record was held by D. Butream with 12. The total number of steals during the Wellsville game was 52. The next record is most points scored, which was 106. As a team, six players all scored in double digits and everyone on the roster scored that night. A baseline jumper that pushed the score to 91, from Mackenzie Mason, broke the previous record of 89 points in a game.  The 100th point was shot by Cadee Johnson from the free throw line. The previous record was held by the 1997 team, coached by Joe Siefke, our current superintendent. The same 1997 team also held the record for most field goals in a game. This 2017 team broke the record with 41 total field goals.

As the season goes on, the girls hope to continue making Lisbon David Anderson history and break more records. All the while making great memories.
