Blood Drive

The blood drive at DAHS was a huge success. The drive was held on March 22, 2016 from 9:15-2:15 pm. The American Red Cross collected a total of 30 pints, which was ten more pints than expected. Members of the Health Careers Club assisted with the drive.

Students in the Health Careers Club helped by setting up and tearing down, registration, donor room escort, canteen, and runner. The American Red Cross currently supplies about 80 pints every day to 57 hospitals in Northeast Ohio and high school blood drives supply about 20% of this need. Thank you to all students who supported these efforts.
