The softball team is looking forward to a great season this year. Last season the Bule Devils were 15-8 and reached the district semi-finals. This year the girls want to compete for the white tier league title, win the sectionals and then advance in the district.
Coach Crismon said, “Expectations are high this season with only losing two girls.” There are eight returning letter winners: Seniors Taylor Siefke and Hannah Hiscox, Juniors C.J Wallace, Devyn Flory and Karlee Pezzano, and Sophomores Hannah Deland, Kimmi Wiggers and Sam Tinsley.
Coach Crismon thinks the team has a good mixture of youthful talent and veteran experience. One weakness is some players are learning new positions. Challenging opponents this season include Columbiana and Wellsville. The Blue Devils have some bigger schools on the schedule this year also, such as Beaver Local, East Liverpool, Struthers and Warren Harding. Good luck this season ladies!
