During the month of January the Stage Left Players had a new play called “South Pacific”. Their performances were January 8, 9, 15, 16 at 7pm and on January 10th and 17th at 2pm. It took five weeks of practice to prepare. The preparation involves making sure the cast members know their lines and where they stand. One of our students at Lisbon, Cameron Rife, was one of the main roles in the play this year. She was Ensign Janet MacGregor. Cameron has been doing plays for Stage Left for over 3 years. The next play for the Stage Left Players is the original “Addam’s Family”. The try out dates have not been announced but the show dates are June 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and the 26th. Cameron is going to try out for a cast part instead of a main part because they consider this play to be an adult play. So mark your calendar and come out to enjoy the play.
