Red Ribbon Week

This year’s Red Ribbon Week had some fun and interesting themes.

Monday was PJ Day to “wake up and be drug free!” A lot of people dressed up for this day and many people said it was their favorite day.

Tuesday was Red Day in honor of Red Ribbon Week. There was also a strong showing for this day with both the students and the staff.

Wednesday was Beach Day to “surf away from drugs”. Not as many students participated on this day but Mr. Burnell made a big splash with his Hawaiian shirt.

Thursday was favorite Holiday and students dressed in their favorite holiday to “cheer to a drug free holiday”. The students’ winning holiday was definitely Christmas.

Friday was Blue Day because “drugs will give you the blues”. Some people went really extreme with the blue and really showed their school spirt.

Reb Ribbon Week allowed the student to be more aware of drug prevention in a fun way.  Overall, many students and teachers participated throughout the week to make it a success.
