Honors and Builders NYC Trip

Honors and Builders NYC Trip

This year, members of the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade took their annual Honors and Builders Trip to New York City. They left on Thursday morning to arrive in the city around dinnertime to eat in Grand Central Station. After dinner, the group enjoyed seeing Aladdin on Broadway! The next day began with a visit to the 911 Memorial Site and then a walk across Brooklyn Bridge. Lunch was at Jane’s Carousel, followed by shopping in Chinatown and then a walk through Central Park. In the evening, the kids went to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck and witnessed a spectacular view of the city all lit up. On Saturday, the group visited Rockefeller Center to see the live taping of the Today Show. Then, they enjoyed a mid-morning cruise from the South Street Seaport and ate lunch before returning to the bus and heading back to Lisbon. Overall, all of the students enjoyed this once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Big Apple!
