Madison Ludlam is a junior at DAHS. In her spare time, Madison dances at Studio 32 in Canfield. She has been dancing for 12 years. Her favorite style of dance is contemporary and she enjoys working on her leaps and kicks. Madison spends four hours a few times during the week and seven hours on Saturday practicing her dance skills. She also spends time stretching and practicing at home.

Madison is on a competition team and has won countless medals and trophies. Her favorite thing about dance is her “dance family”; she says they have grown together and she is proud that they dance well together. Alongside dancing, Madison also participates in the gymnastics classes offered at Studio 32. She goes to gymnastics twice a week to practice and help younger students.

After Madison graduates from high school, she will be graduating from Studio 32 as well, although she will never stop dancing on her own. Madison plans on going on to learn sign language and she would like to educate deaf people someday and maybe she will even teach them to dance.
