DAHS Welcomes New Principal, Mr. Edenfield

Among other changes this school year, we are pleased to welcome our new principal to DAHS, Mr. Edenfield. A graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, Mr. Edenfield earned his bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University. He then went on to pursue his master’s degree at Ashland University. Mr. Edenfield started his career as a math teacher at Springfield High School, then moved on to Austintown Fitch High School, where he taught for four years. He was soon promoted to assistant principal at Austintown Fitch, a position he served for four additional years. This is Mr. Edenfield’s first time as principal and first time at DAHS. He stated that he likes being our principal, even with the additional responsibilities that the job demands.

In his personal life, Mr. Edenfield has been married to his wife, Michelle, for six years. They have two daughters together, Klara and Emilea, who are two years old and seven months old, respectively.

Mr. Edenfield said that everyone at Lisbon has been friendly and has helped him adjust to our school. The students here at DAHS look forward to a fantastic new school year with Mr. Edenfield.
